Audemars Piguet & Swatch break the rules of watchmaking

When joyful boldness and positive provocation meet fine watchmaking, the result is far more than a timepiece, it’s a statement of creativity in the form of a watch. And that statement takes shape in a collection that breaks the rules of watchmaking and disrupts the traditional way of wearing a watch.

To ensure the safety of both our customers and our staff in Swatch stores, we kindly ask you not to rush to our stores in large numbers to acquire this product.

The Royal Pop Collection will remain available for several months.

In some countries/regions, queues of more than 50 people cannot be accepted, and sales may need to be paused.

The Bioceramic Royal Pop Collection

This collection merges the avant‑garde design of Audemars Piguet's iconic Royal Oak and the modular ingenuity of Swatch's vibrant POP line from the 1980s, resulting in eight, statement-making pocket watches designed for endless creative styling.

At the core of each watch is a brand-new hand-wound version of our signature SISTEM51 movement finished with a dash of Pop Art energy. And to top it off, each model comes in one of two unique styles: Lépine or Savonnette.

Watches in the Royal Pop Collection are powered by a brand-new version of our signature SISTEM51 movement, redesigned as a hand-wound caliber that connects the wearer to a rich watchmaking heritage.

The movement is fully visible through a transparent sapphire case back, featuring Pop Art-inspired printing that adds a playful touch. The mainspring barrel serves as another visual highlight, acting as both a striking detail and a power reserve indicator.

The Royal Oak collection has been an Audemars Piguet icon since its debut in 1972. Defined by its bold stainless steel design, octagonal bezel with eight hexagonal screws, "tapisserie" dial, and integrated bracelet, it stands as a symbol of innovation and avant-garde craftsmanship in fine watchmaking.

By combining this legendary design DNA with the modular, detachable spirit of the Swatch POP range, we have created a collection that is not merely distinct—it is in a class of its own.

SISTEM51

SISTEM51 is Swatch's signature movement and the only mechanical movement with 100% automated assembly. This Swiss-made movement is now available in a hand-wound version engineered without a central screw.

Bioceramic

Developed and patented by Swatch, Bioceramic is a composite material that stands out in modern watchmaking. It combines two-thirds high-grade ceramic with one-third bio-sourced material derived from castor oil, resulting in a durable material with a silky-smooth matte finish.
